I'm sure 99% of non jw women having a child would accept a blood transfusion. If bleeding to death during child birth. we are talking about healthy young women here, most likely one of the happiest days of their lives to give birth to a child. with dreams of family and rearing children. That's why ALL LITTLE GIRLS HAVE DOLLS. they are practicing being a GOOD MOMMY. It was the WTS THAT MADE EMMA CARRY A NO BLoOD card. Not her own conscience. It was the WTS CONSCIENCE that taught her 5 meeting a week all of her life. To reject normal will to live. this case and thousands of others is nothing more than MANSLAUGHTER COMMITTED BUT THE WATCHTOWER. THERE IS REALLY NO OTHER WAY TO SEE THIS MURDER. JOHN

I'm with Besty; on this one. Mrs. emma gough DIED THANKS TO THE WTBTS, IT WAS THE WTBTS THAT BRAINWASHED HER TO DIE... nOT HER OWN CONSCIENCENCE. I'M 100% AGAINST many posters that try to say EMMA GOUGH made her own choice. THE WTS MADE HER CHOICE. AFTER YEARS OF BRAINWASHING. NOW SHE'S DEAD THANKS TO THE WTS. I DON'T SEE ANYWAY POSTERS HERE CAN DEFEND HER DEATH. BASED ON WTS DOCTRINE/ OR CHOICE OF TREATMENT. we have many sick posters here that try to defend Emma Gouchs' religious STUPIDITY TO DIE.

Were You Ever Counseled Because Of What You Wore (or didn't)?

after reading the thread about what is acceptable to wear and not wear in a factory run by jehovah's witnesses, i wondered whether any here ever got counseled or in trouble because of their fashion sense or attire.

i remember in the late 60's when my dad became a jw; ( my never became a jw mom) would go to the hall every week wearing pant's the jw sisters ( all black would hate my mom white) my mom never really wanted to go to the hall. but would go once a week. well they always picked on my mom. and she would allways ask if it was a fashion contest.? and would never wear a dress and tell them to go FU_k THEMselves. my mom takes no shit. so one day at the hall some sister goes to tell my dad that my brother( about 8 years old) had a fight with some jw kid at school. and my dad beat the shit out of my brother at the hall. WELL MY MOM GOT UP A DRAGGED the sister of this kid out of her seat . and kicked the living SHIT out of her right in the hall. and my dad stuck up for the jw's and my mom and us kids all took the bus home. and we went to MC DONALDS. THAT was the last time my mom ever went to the hall. I'm glad she kicked some ass that day and none of her kids ever joined the wt. THANK YOU MOM

Totally Blown Away

hi all.... i started reading and posting here some years ago, as my stepchildren were being raised jw's by their mother, and at one time in my misguided life i had studied w/the jw's.. anyway, time went by and we had less and less contact with the kids...until a couple of weeks ago.

my stepdaughter j swung by the house and we noticed something very different about her.

she was lively, talkative, fun!

great news trail blazer; now your daughter is part of satans world. going to nursing school, and being a lifeguard,swimming instructor. and just enjoying life . sounds like she has a bright(new light) future. too bad the wts I mean joe-hoover now hates her. why be a lifeguard wearing a bathingsuit, and maybe save some kid from drowning at the pool when you could be out peddling wt mag's all hot summer long... jesus said the waters of life are FREE. ty for the good news

I 'never' answer the door when JWs come a knockin' but . . .

i 'never' answer the door when jws (2 men) come to the door, well, yesterday i did,,and i couldn't help it.

i dominated the conversation,,wouldn't let them talk much,,stayed on the blood issue for the most part, about 6/7 min., they excused themselves & left.

they were kind of like deer facing headlights of a speeding car.

great work Gayle; jw's never expect someone to call them out in the doors. and taking CHARGE OF THE CONVERSATION is the worst NIGHTMARE dubs can deal with. they hate KNOWLEDGALBE ones. you messed up their easy day in fs. BECAUSE YOU MADE THEM THINK. and shut them down. trust me they felt like DOPES after leaving your door... john
